Where a large illuminated peacock works best

The open tail creates a wide visual background, making this design useful where shoppers or hotel guests approach from one main direction. Position the display beyond the main circulation path so people can stop for photos without narrowing an entrance or blocking a queue. A garden border, landscaped courtyard or plaza display island can provide a clearer viewing distance than a narrow shop doorway.

For a shopping center, align the colors with the seasonal campaign and keep nearby signs visible. For a hotel or resort, consider both daytime fabric colors and the evening lighting effect. Event companies can specify transport sections and a reusable base arrangement when the sculpture must move between venues. The design is a decorative installation; it is not climbing or play equipment.

Technical specifications and custom options

This is a made-to-order product. The table combines the source product details with available customization choices. Dimensions, load, weight and structural fixing are finalized for the ordered design. Selecting an IP-rated lamp or power supply does not by itself assign the same rating to the complete fabric-covered sculpture.

Choosing the frame, fabric and finish

The tail fan is the main design feature and also the element that determines much of the footprint and handling space. Start with the available width, then choose the height and body depth. A steel frame and an aluminum frame are alternative specifications: their connections, support requirements and transport weight need to be assessed with the chosen shape rather than treated as interchangeable labels.

For painted or powder-coated metalwork, specify the installation environment and expected display period. A sheltered hotel courtyard and an exposed coastal plaza can require different preparation and maintenance arrangements. Fabric color, feather detailing and the location of visible joints should be agreed using the design drawing and production photographs.

Lighting and electrical planning

Internal LED lighting emphasizes the fabric color and feather outlines. Tell us the local supply voltage, location of the nearest electrical connection, daily operating hours and whether you need timer-controlled switching. We then match the lighting circuit and power-supply arrangement to the selected sculpture.

For wet outdoor sites, define protection requirements separately for lamps or light strings, connectors and power supplies. Cable connections should remain accessible for maintenance while being protected from water accumulation and public contact. If a design sits beside a pond or fountain, the supporting structure and electrical equipment need a dedicated installation arrangement; a waterside photo does not mean the display can be submerged.

Transport, installation and seasonal storage

1. Confirm site access. Share the entry width, unloading location, lift restrictions and proposed display footprint. The widest feather section may control the packing design.
2. Agree the assembly plan. Confirm section sizes, connection points, base arrangement and the order in which the tail and body are assembled.
3. Review fixing requirements. Provide the ground or floor type and exposure conditions so the mounting proposal can be coordinated with the site team.
4. Check the complete display. Inspect the fabric, joints, cables and illumination after installation and before public opening.
5. Store by section. Disconnect power, protect decorative surfaces from abrasion, dry the components and retain the part labels for the next installation.

Wooden cases or other agreed protective packaging can be used around the final transport sections. Request a packing list with dimensions and weights before booking freight. Production time and shipping time are separate: the delivery plan should include design approval, manufacturing, inspection, transit and installation.

Frequently asked questions

Can the peacock lantern be made to our available space?

Yes. The height, tail width, posture and base arrangement can be customized. Provide the usable footprint and clearance limits, including nearby doors, trees, signage and pedestrian routes.

Can we choose an aluminum frame instead of an iron frame?

Yes. Aluminum and steel / iron frames can be specified as custom options. The appropriate frame, connection method and finish depend on the final dimensions, exposure and installation arrangement.

What waterproof grade should we request?

Specify the required protection for the lighting components, power supplies and connectors individually. IP65, IP67 and IP68 component options can be discussed. The fabric, frame, joints and site installation must also be considered when planning an outdoor display.

Is the stated lamp wattage the power of the entire sculpture?

No. Lamp ratings and complete-display consumption are different. Request the total connected load for the final design so your electrician can plan the power supply and circuits.

Does the white peacock design include its pedestal and adjacent vase?

The photographs show possible display arrangements. Confirm the peacock, pedestal, surrounding props and any lighting accessories individually in the order so the supplied scope is clear.

Can the display be reused for another season?

A reuse plan can be included in the design brief. Discuss dismantling, transport sections, protective packing and replacement lighting components. Inspect fabric, frame connections and electrical parts before each reinstallation.

How do we request a quotation?

Send your site images, required size, quantity, colors, destination, power supply and target installation date. Include any access or weather constraints so the quotation covers the intended configuration.
